The Pike Ford Company building is an iconic historical structure in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle, currently housing a thrift shop.  The developer approached Woollen|Studio to work through the complex neighborhood zoning to determine the possibilities for the site.

The project works with the existing facade to fit within the historical context, and to make a strong connection to the urban fabric.  The modern structure beyond is designed to be a flexible working space for entrepreneurs. By providing them a shared office experience, the building is able to provide various spaces and work scenarios that suit the needs of the clients over the course of the work week.
